So I got my conscious box yesterday. I randomly found out about this through my many blogs I read! The Conscious Box is a monthly package - every month including different items - that are all pure, natural, and vegan products. The focus is on sustainability, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility. So these items are anything from vegan beauty products to products from ethical driven businesses.

First, who doesn’t love to get mail?

Second, look how cute this box is!

This month’s box was focused on natural energy boosts - perfect for the summer month of June.

Here are a few of my favorite items.

Vega One - we all know I love Whey Protein powder and always make sure I have key protein in my daily diet. Well Vega is a plant based supplement, with 15g of protein, 50% of your daily intake of vitamins and minerals - antioxidants and probiotics. It has 6 g of fiber and 1.5 g omega-3s, and is dairy, gluten and soy free. Best yet - no sugar added.

Vita Rocks -umm who loves pop rocks? Well these are vitamin pop rocks! Say what? They are amazing too. They have a plethora of different daily vitamins and only 23 calories a pack! I have so far tried the cherry and they are delicious! How fun!

Kelp Krunch -I felt like fish should only eat kelp. Until I tried this bar. This organic, gluten free, soy free, dairy free, GMO free, and vegan (I know right?) seaweed energy bar is super crunchy and delicious. And get this. When you buy a bar, proceeds go to Allied Whale, a whale conservation organization. Who has ever watched Whale Wars? Well that is reason enough for me!

E-Boost-I love 5 hour energy. So not that great for you. But this is a natural energy drink, sugar free, and doesn’t contain any caffeine, artificial flavors or chemicals. Umm yes please.

Artisana Cashew Butter - Perfect size. I love all nut butters. I am telling you - my drunk food when I get home from a night out is almond butter. Well I love cashews, so this is a great sample size version of the nut butter! And its freakin delicious. Really creamy. And who doesn’t love snack sizes?

Other items in the box: Bug stopper soap, a Lara Bar, Nuti-Masu Life Ocean Salt, a few Mighty Leaf teas, Natural Vitality Energy28, Savvy Boheme deodorant, and a few other random items. Can’t wait to try them all - and for next month’s box :)

Get yours here!

I also MUST share a few of my favorite things I have been eating.

One of my favorite breakfasts and one I haven’t forever - The Mighty Green Microwave Muffin.Everyone must check out Stuft Mama’s Blog! She has SO MANY amazing recipes.  Just look at this.

I topped mine with my delicious PB2 Chocolate Chia Pudding.

What you’ll need:

For the muffin

1/4 egg whites
Handful of spinach
2 tbsp vanilla almond milk
2 tbsp coconut flour
1 banana
1/2 tsp baking powder
Packet of Truvia
Splash of vanilla and cinnamon to taste

Blend all ingredients together

I then put in the fridge overnight so it was ready to go straight into the microwave after Insanity/HIIT this morning!

Pour batter into a mug sprayed with cooking spray. Microwave for 5 minutes on high. Every microwave is different, I often have to add some time so just make sure its all cooked!

Then for my Peanut Butter Chocolate CHIA Pudding:

I often make differing sizes of these (depending on how much I want that day and how many calories I have allotted for my breakfast that day!). This is the basic recipe:

1/4 cup fat free greek yogurt
1 tbsp PB2
1 tbsp chia seeds
1/4-1/2 scoop chocolate whey protein powder

Mix all together and let sit in the fridge overnight (or at least a few hours). This tastes much like tapioca pudding as the chia seeds expand and well Its just amazing. LOL.

And is perfect on top my MIGHTY green muffin.

This morning I halved this pudding recipe and topped with a few chopped strawberries and some homemade granola.

PERFECT breakfast.

Another new find?

I was shopping for my Foodie Penpal at Whole Foods yesterday and discovered this amazingness.

A perfect mix of goji berries, cacao nibs, mulberries, and pistachios.

All natural, all raw, no sugar added, PURE energy. As they say, Supergood Superfood! You can find this Kopali Organics product of course at Whole Foods. I am also contemplating ordering a bunch of them from LuckyVitamin.com. They are THAT good. 200 calories and 10 g of healthy fats for the entire bag. I love perfectly snack sized treats like this. I love trail mix and different nuts, and often over eat them! So this is just perfect for me. Today, I had 1/2 the bag as a little dessert after lunch.

Yayy for new discoveries and yayy for new products!

I woke up this morning with a hangover. Trying this “drinking in moderation” thing. I definitely have gone through a phase of cutting drinking out of my life completely. But I really did miss it. I got myself out of bed early this morning anyways and made my favorite breakfast - Banana Oatmeal Chia Pancakes. Seriously - they are the best thing ever. My absolute favorite.

Just look at these babies

They are seriously incredible. Here is what you’ll need:

1/3 cup quick oats
2 tbsp fat free greek yogurt
1/4 cup egg whites
2 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 mashed bananas

Mix together with a blender

Then fry those babies up

Then I topped with some delicious chocolate PB2 protein frosting:

1/2 scoop chocolate whey
1 tbsp PB2
Few splashes of unsweetened almond milk

Mix to the right consistency - and then spread on your pancakes and top with fruit!
